One Year Birthday Cake Smash | Newport Beach Newborn Photographer

Our milestone sessions celebrating one year have quickly become a favorite for parents. It is a huge accomplishment marking the fastest year of their lives. The days may be long, but the years are short and it’s why we make sure new parents know the importance of these portraits. These sessions ensure you have beautiful memories to look back on. 

 Crew’s birthday celebration started with a cake smash in the studio and then we captured full family portraits on the beach in Crystal Cove. 

FULL-SERVICE EXPERIENCE

Gigi has always been the sweetest and loves our portrait experience. While we take care of hair, makeup and wardrobe - she can focus on making memories with her family. 

 Crew was just adorable in his blue romper and Mom looked stunning in a beautiful blue floral dress, both borrowed from our client closet. 

 Mom, Dad and Crew took advantage of the many options in the client wardrobe. 

TIME FOR CAKE

After capturing so many fun photos of the birthday boy, it was cake smash time. Crew wasn’t shy at all and dug right into his special cake. His sweet little personality just shines in these photos!

BEACH SESSION

After the studio cake smash, we made our way to Crystal Cove State Beach. Winding paths of golden flowers were an amazing backdrop for these gorgeous family portraits. We followed the trail to a secluded beach setting that was just perfect to capture treasured memories for this beautiful family. Crew had so much fun running and playing in the sand. Just look at that smile…what a wonderful way to celebrate his first year!

We just completed Crew's one year album and now they will have a wonderful keepsake to flip through and relive those moments from his childhood. It was such an honor to document all of these precious family memories for them to cherish always.
