Newport Beach Studio Photographer | First Birthday Cake Smash Session

I had the honor of photographing baby Bruce what just seemed like a few months ago when he was a newborn, and now we are celebrating his first birthday. We say it all of the time, but time flies, especially that first year. One of the best things about being a Newport Beach studio photographer is having a place where I can offer my clients a variety of options for photos to celebrate their birthday boy/girl!

Mom, Leilani, wanted to celebrate Bruce’s first birthday with a photoshoot and cake smash. We started with a few family photos and Leilani looked stunning in one of our new dresses added to the wardrobe. After a few family photos and photos of just Bruce, we brought out the cake!

Leilani brought a blue ombre cake and we used one of our studio's cake topper and cake stand. Bruce was so happy to dig in and all smiles when he started eating the cake. Big sister Sloane was there to help eat, too!

I love seeing how much Bruce has grown over this past year. He is the sweetest boy and surrounded by so much love from his big sister, Mom, and Dad.
