Newborn Session with Six-Week-Old Baby Boy | Orange County Newborn Photography

This newborn session with six-week-old baby boy, Crew, was such a dream to photograph. He was the sweetest boy and so BIG at six weeks. Despite being a little older for his newborn session, he loved being swaddled and we were able to get a mix of sleepy and awake photos for Mom and Dad!

When Gigi reached out to me about photographing Crew’s newborn session I was immediately reminded of why I have worked so hard to create the client experience I have. Weeks after having a newborn, Gigi and Kyle were preparing to move from Newport Beach to North San Diego. Not only did I want to make sure a newborn session was possible for them, but I also wanted to make it as stress-free as possible.

So, instead of having to stress over what to wear or finding time to get herself ready, we were able to take care of all of that right here in the studio for her. To start, Gigi had her hair and makeup done and then had a chance to look through her client wardrobe. She ended up choosing a beautiful white off-the-shoulder dress and looked absolutely beautiful.

After getting ready, it was time for their first family portraits. These are always really exciting to photograph for parents, especially those going through it for the first time. It’s all so new, so exciting, and filled with moments you never want to forget.

I am so excited to watch Crew grow over this next year. We’ll be documenting some of his most important milestones and designing an album along the way. Mom, Dad, and Crew will be able to remember this time- the start of their family and new, exciting adventures!
