Newborn Session For A Baby Boy in Orange County, CA

I recently had the honor of photographing a newborn session for a baby boy in Orange County, CA and oh my goodness, he could not have been any sweeter! Mom, dad and big brother are all smitten with him, and it didn’t take me long to see why. Per usual, I found myself sitting by my newborn posing bag completely taken aback that THIS is my job.

I think we all know how quickly this season goes, but in the midst of it, the days are long. Then, before we know it, our babies are toddlers running circles around us and we wonder where the time went. As a mom, having these memories to look back on has only become more and more important to me the older my daughter gets. I know many of my clients feel the same way.

While I was getting started with baby Rhett’s solo portraits, Mom was getting pampered with hair and makeup and then got to choose her favorite dress from the client wardrobe. Rhett started off the session awake, but after a quick swaddle, he quickly fell asleep and rocked his newborn session!

Mom and Dad were so excited to have newborn photos of baby Rhett and big brother, Royal. They didn’t have newborn photos with Royal and like many of us, now understand just how important it is to have these photos. We’ll be documenting Rhett’s first year and I cannot wait. I’m also really excited to help them design Rhett’s first year album and a beautiful gallery wall for their home that will grow with them as they grow!
