Somehow we all blinked and Miss Kinsley is ONE! I photographed her newborn session and here we are a year later celebrating her first birthday. It's always such an honor to be part of these milestones for my clients. These are the moments that many of us dream about for years and look forward to, all while wanting to freeze time. That first year goes SO fast and it’s still so surreal to me at times.

To celebrate Kinsley’s first birthday, we did a quick milestone session in the studio. Mom wore a lace dress from the client wardrobe. They looked beautiful and I loved how it photographed against the backdrop in the studio.

As most kids at this age are, Kinsley was keenly aware of my camera. Anytime she noticed it she would do her “model face,” and does it well! We had Jack Johnson playing in the background and that really got her dancing- so sweet!

And what little girl doesn’t love to dress up in a pink tulle skirt and pearls?! I cannot get over how precious Kinsley was for the cake smash portion of her first birthday session. She wasn’t so sure about the cake, butttt I have to admit, the skepticism always makes for some of my favorite cake smash photos!
