Baby Girl Newborn Session with Newport Beach Baby Photographer
My job as a Newport Beach baby photographer is to ensure that you never have to forget those early days with your baby. Even in those first few weeks, they change SO much. They will outgrow newborn size diapers and clothes way too quickly. And within that first month, you’ll understand why everyone told you to not blink.
This family knows all about that. They just welcomed their second baby, a beautiful baby girl and over the next year, we’ll document her big milestones, starting with her newborn session! The entire session was a dream. Baby girl, Nia, slept the entire time and big brother could not have been any sweeter.
While Mom was having her hair and makeup done and choosing wardrobe, I started with Nia’s individual portraits. Because she slept so well, we were able to move through her portraits quickly, which is always the goal! How long your newborn session lasts, often depends on the needs of your baby. Some will sleep the entire time while others will need to be fed or soothed a little more. Either way, it’s my goal to keep your session moving, stress-free, and as this Dad said, “like a well-oiled machine.”
After Mom was ready and we finished Nia’s portraits, we moved onto family photos. These photos are always so exciting to photograph. They’re often your first family portraits and the ones that will soon adorn the walls of your home. I often look back on our first photos as a family with our daughter and treasure them so much, and I want you to be able to do the same.
So while you may not realize it now and are in the thick of preparing for this next season of life, don’t let it slip you by. Years from now you and your children will be so thankful you chose to document it.
