Six Month Milestone Session | Newport Beach Family Photographer

This six-month milestone session is by far one of my favorite sessions I have ever photographed. It’s the perfect example of why I love photographing this age. Everything about it was. just so sweet!

Jackson LOVES his Mom and Dad and there’s no doubt this little miracle boy is their whole world. You can see it in their smiles and the way they all look at each other. I’m so glad that both Mom and Dad joined us for Jackson’s session!

The six-month milestone session is often referred to as the “sitter” milestone. It always feels like such a big milestone to document and while it is, there is so much about this age that I just love. The smiles, wiggly little toes, and interaction with Mom and Dad are all so good and 100% worth documenting!

There’s a photo of Jackson and his mama that we took during his newborn session that we recreated. Six months (and so many memories) in between. When you look at similar photos side by side, you realize just HOW much your baby has grown.

I say it all the time, but time flies, especially this first year. Before you know it, your tiny little baby that depended on you for everything is on the move. And as bittersweet as it can feel, it truly is so exciting!
